The Illinois Turfgrass Foundation (ITF) is committed to funding turf research and education in Illinois. As the largest turf principal organization in Illinois, ITF has contributed over 1.5 million dollars to projects and grants within the state. Through enthusiastic support of its members, ITF has and continues to accomplish a number of impressive achievements.

Please mark your calendars for Wednesday, September 22nd for the 2010 iTurfExpo. The iTurfExpo is the Illinois Turfgrass Foundations (ITF) premier event and combines aspects from both the annual Illinois Professional Turf Conference (IPTC) and the biennial Midwest Field Day into one unified event.

Based upon our survey responses from our inaugural event, the ITF will be implementing the following changes in 2010:

The iTurfExpo will be moved to a date later in the growing season.
The iTurfExpo will take place over the course of a single day (September 22, 2010).
There won’t be any golf at this year’s event. The preliminary schedule for the day includes research and education in the morning, followed by an afternoon of exhibits.
Out of state researchers will be utilized to give presentations to attract our members along with our own researchers.
Equipment demonstrations will be set up differently with more flexibility for the displaying companies.
Product trials will be offered and tailor made for each company that wishes to display.
Exhibitors will be grouped together in one area and not spread out on the property.
